Comparison

VIBEPro vs LocalStalls.

LocalStalls is a New Zealand-built platform for market and festival organizers across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the US. It goes broad: stall applications, invoicing, ticketing, social media scheduling, memberships, volunteers, sponsors, and a public events directory, with an entry price that is genuinely hard to beat.

This page is the straight answer to how the two compare. Where LocalStalls is the better fit, we'll say so. Where VIBEPro is, we'll show you why, with operational data from a real weekly market in continuous production.

The short version

LocalStalls goes broad across events. VIBEPro goes deep on the weekly market.

Pick VIBEPro if

You run a recurring US market and want depth: AI document review, plain-English analytics, sales-based fee rules, and vendor types flexible enough to cover entertainers, sponsors, food trucks, and whatever shows up next.

Pick LocalStalls if

You're in Australia or New Zealand, you need ticketing and entertainer booking in the same tool, or you want the cheapest credible entry point in the category.

Pick a spreadsheet if

You want software that never argues with you and never helps you either. There are better options on this page.

Feature-by-feature

Where the two tools actually differ.

The bigger difference

Breadth is easy to list on a pricing page. Depth is what Saturday at 6am actually needs.

LocalStalls' feature list is genuinely long: applications, invoicing, ticketing, social scheduling, memberships, volunteers, sponsors, entertainers. If you run a festival with a box office, that breadth is the point, and LocalStalls covers ground VIBEPro deliberately does not. But breadth has a cost. When every event type gets a module, no single event type gets the depth of a tool built around its exact shape.

VIBEPro is built around one shape: the recurring market. That focus is why vendor types are configurable instead of hard-coded (an entertainer is a vendor type with its own fees, documents, and messaging, not a separate module), why fee rules handle flat, sales-based, or both in one workflow, why documents are tracked with expiration awareness and reviewed with AI assistance, and why you can ask your market data questions in plain English. Depth compounds every single week you run.

Pricing, compared honestly

A cheap entry ladder vs. a flat, published, everything-included fee.

LocalStalls

NZ$39 to NZ$159 per month

Lite (NZ$39, about US$25) covers 60 stalls per month, Pro (NZ$99, about US$60) covers 250, Pro Plus (NZ$159, about US$95) covers 600, each tier unlocking more modules. A free 30-day trial and no contracts. Worth knowing: 60 stalls per month is a weekly market with about 15 stalls, so most real weekly markets land on Pro or Pro Plus. Still cheaper than VIBEPro, and we will not pretend otherwise.

VIBEPro

Flat, tiered, published

Grow ($149/mo, up to 30 vendors), Run ($325/mo, 31–75 vendors), Scale ($595/mo, 76–150 vendors). Every tier includes every feature, no module gating. No per-application fees, no platform transaction fees, and your vendor payments never route through us.

Who VIBEPro is best for

  • US weekly markets running 20–200 vendors on a mixed roster of farmers, makers, prepared food, entertainers, and sponsors
  • Markets that bill vendors on flat fees, a percentage of sales, or both
  • California certified markets that need CDFA remittance handled by the software
  • Managers who want AI leverage: document review, plain-English analytics, and an AI support assistant
  • Markets coordinating paid staff and volunteers with real shift scheduling

Who LocalStalls is best for

  • Market and festival organizers in Australia and New Zealand, where LocalStalls is at home
  • Events that need ticketing, admissions, and entertainer booking in the same tool
  • Small community markets that want the cheapest credible software in the category
  • Organizers who value the exposure of a public events directory with free listings

If that sounds like you, LocalStalls is a genuinely capable choice at a fair price. We'd rather you pick the right tool than the wrong one and churn.

I used to text 60 vendors every week and sort 60 pieces of paper on my dining room table. Now it just… happens. VIBEPro gave me my weekends back. I run a bigger market with half the stress.

CAROLE, MARKET MANAGER

Switching from LocalStalls

We'll walk your market from the old tool to the new one ourselves.

What we migrate

Vendor list and contact info, historical attendance if you have it, booth layouts, document records, and your application form.

What we rebuild

Your branded vendor portal at your own subdomain, your Stripe connection, and any custom fee rules, flat, sales-based, or both.

How long it takes

Onboarding is a 4–6 hour founder-led setup. Most markets are running their first Saturday on VIBEPro within two weeks of saying yes.

And because we believe in the product: if your first scheduled market day on VIBEPro isn't better than the one before it, we refund your onboarding fee. That's the Market Day Guarantee, in place of a traditional free trial that doesn't really fit how weekly markets work.

Frequently asked

Common questions about VIBEPro and LocalStalls.

Is VIBEPro cheaper than LocalStalls?
At the entry point, no. LocalStalls starts at NZ$39 (about US$25) per month and VIBEPro starts at $149 per month. The difference is what the monthly fee buys: every VIBEPro tier includes every feature, including AI document review, plain-English analytics, sales-based fee rules, and founder-led support, where LocalStalls unlocks modules tier by tier. Also note LocalStalls counts stalls per month, so a weekly market with 25 stalls needs roughly 100 stalls per month, which lands on their Pro tier, not Lite.
Does VIBEPro support entertainers, sponsors, and food trucks?
Yes, and without separate modules. Vendor types in VIBEPro are fully configurable, so entertainers, sponsors, food trucks, and nonprofits get the same applications, fee rules, document requirements, and targeted messaging as any other vendor. If a new kind of participant shows up at your market next season, you add a vendor type and everything already works.
Does VIBEPro have ticketing like LocalStalls?
No, deliberately. VIBEPro is vendor operations software for recurring markets, not an admissions platform. If your event sells tickets at a gate, LocalStalls or a dedicated ticketing platform is the right tool for that part of your operation.
Does VIBEPro integrate with QuickBooks or Xero?
Not yet. LocalStalls offers Xero and QuickBooks integrations on its Pro tier, and that is a real advantage today. VIBEPro reports export for offline use now, and accounting-ready exports are on the near-term roadmap.
Does VIBEPro have a mobile app?
VIBEPro is a mobile-responsive web app rather than a native app, and vendor payment requests arrive as one-tap links by text message. Managers run market mornings from a phone or tablet browser today.
What AI does VIBEPro include that LocalStalls does not?
Three systems, included on every tier. AI document review reads uploaded insurance certificates and permits, extracts the key fields, and flags whether they meet your requirements. The AI analytics agent answers plain-English questions about your market data. And an AI support assistant answers vendor and manager questions around the clock, escalating to a human when needed. LocalStalls does not advertise AI features.
